Any resident of Allegheny County can register for a library card online.

Residents under the age of 18 will be issued a temporary card which will expire after 30 days. You can also come to any open CLP location with valid ID to register for a new card curbside or receive a physical library card.

If you have a smartphone, tablet, or computer, your library card provides access to free content 24/7.
