What does a sample business plan look like?

Answer

What is a Business Plan?

A business plan is a written document that describes in detail how a business - usually a new one - is going to achieve its goals.  A business plan lays out a written plan from a marketing, financial, and operational viewpoint.  Business plans are important to allow a company to lay out its goals and attract investment.

They are also a way for companies to keep themselves on track going forward.  You can obtain sample business plans by using the database Gale Virtual Reference Library.  Choose 'Business' under Browse Collections, and then select the Business Plans Handbook. From there, you can enter in your business type in the search box (and search all volumes or a specific volume you select first).

See the links below for sample resources from the Business Plans Handbook.
