What is Clever and how does a Pittsburgh Public School (PPS) student login?

Answer

Clever is the central page for E-Learning for Pittsburgh Public School students. When students log into Clever, they will see links to Schoology and many other tools for E-Learning. Because Clever is a single sign-on system the initial login carries across to different sites allowing students to login to Teams, Schoology and other resources.

Pittsburgh Public School’s instructions for logging into Clever (and Schoology and Teams) depends on what device you have and whether or not it was provided by the district or is your personal device.

The instructions are located on Pittsburgh Public School’s “E-Learner Resources” page.

To log into Clever on a web browser, follow these steps:

  1. Use Google Chrome

  2. Go to: https://www.pghschools.org/

  3. Click/tap on “Clever” in the “Find it Fast” menu

  4. Click/tap “Student Login”

  5. Enter student’s Username and Password

    1. You should have received these in the mail

    2. There are also hints and passwords on the login page

    3. If you still cannot login contact your child's teacher, principle, or school administrator

  6. From Clever you’ll be access Schoology, Teams and other apps

If you have any issues with logging in contact your child's teacher, principal, or school administrator.  Otherwise submit a ticket to "Let's Talk" or call 412-529-HELP (4357)
